Coimbatore Book Festival 2025: A Grand Literary Celebration from July 18 to 27
Coimbatore: The 9th edition of the Coimbatore Book Festival (CBF) will be held from July 18 to July 27, 2025, at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex. The event is being organized by the Coimbatore District Administration, the School Education Department, and CODISSIA.
This 10-day mega book fair will feature over 170 exhibitors across 320 stalls, bringing together a wide range of publishers, authors, educators, students, and book lovers from across India. The festival is expected to attract visitors from states including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Delhi.
Speaking to the media, CODISSIA President M. Karthikeyan stated,“CBF 2025 is more than just a book exhibition—it’s a cultural movement aimed at inspiring young minds to develop a love for reading and literature.”
M. Rajesh, Chairman of CBF 2025, highlighted the dual mission of the event:“This festival promotes reading among children and also extends much-needed support to publishers affected by the digital transition.”
To ensure accessibility, a free shuttle service will operate between the venue and Avinashi Road (near Jenneys Residency). Entry is free for all, with both online and on-the-spot registration available.
The book fair will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
