AI is Your Servant, Not Your Boss! – Business Tips by J Sampath, Founder of JB Soft System

In today’s fast-changing world, technology and AI are becoming central to how we do business. But amidst all the noise, we must remember one simple truth – technology is a tool, not your boss. Artificial Intelligence can assist, automate, and accelerate your work. It can analyze data, draft content, or optimize your marketing. But it cannot lead your vision, replace your thinking, or deliver your experience. AI is your servant, not your leader. Ultimately, you and your team are the ones who deliver results and experiences to clients. Technology only supports you – it doesn’t replace the sincerity, creativity, or relationships that build lasting businesses. Think of it this way – focus on the food, not the plate. Adding extra shine to the plate doesn’t improve the taste of the food. In the same way, overemphasizing tools and technologies without a strong business focus adds no real value. Similarly, in a journey, what truly matters is the destination and the experience, not just the comfort or the technology of the vehicle. So, let technology serve you, not rule you.Let AI support your business, not define it.And most importantly, take control of your business – your clarity, strategy, and customer focus will always be the true engines of growth. Thirukarthigai Deepam 2025: Must-Do Rituals & Traditions You Shouldn’t Miss!

Tamil Nadu is preparing to celebrate Thirukarthigai Deepam, one of the most revered festivals dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Murugan. This festival of divine light symbolizes purity, knowledge, and the triumph of goodness over darkness. On the day of Thirukarthigai, devotees begin their day with an early morning bath and by lighting the first lamp at home — marking the start of the Deepam fast. Those who observe the fast traditionally avoid solid food, sustaining themselves on fruits and fruit juices throughout the day. The highlight of the festival is the Karthigai Deepam Pooja, performed at home and in temples on the full moon day of the Tamil month of Karthigai. Devotees set up an altar with images of Lord Shiva and Lord Murugan, decorate it with flowers, and light rows of lamps symbolizing divine energy and enlightenment. According to custom, 27 lamps should be lit in specific places: Two at the entrance Two in the hallway One in the kitchen Four at the back of the house Two before the deities One Ema Deepam for protection from untimely death Additionally, five lamps are lit on Bharani Deepam, marking the spiritual beginning of the festival. Devotees also visit nearby Shiva temples, lighting lamps with cow ghee, and offering prayers for prosperity and well-being. At Tiruvannamalai, the celebration reaches its divine climax when the Maha Deepam is lit atop Arunachala Hill, representing Lord Shiva’s eternal flame. Witnessing this sacred light is considered highly auspicious and spiritually uplifting. While Karthigai Deepam is observed throughout the month, Thirukarthigai day holds the greatest significance, coinciding with the full moon (Pournami). The festival’s date changes each year based on the lunar calendar. As lamps glow across Tamil Nadu, Thirukarthigai Deepam reminds devotees to light not just their homes, but their hearts – with faith, wisdom, and the eternal light of the divine.

Sleep Smarter: 5 Expert Tips for Deep, Restful Nights

Struggling to fall asleep? You’re not alone. Experts say that consistent sleep schedules, a cool, dark bedroom, and a calming bedtime routine are key to resetting your body’s internal clock. Getting daytime activity and natural light exposure also improves sleep quality. Meanwhile, avoiding stimulants, heavy meals, and late naps helps prevent disrupted rest. Lack of sleep doesn’t just make you feel tired—it can impact your health in surprising ways. Studies from King’s College London found that poor sleep can make you eat 385 extra calories per day, affect your gut health, and increase pain sensitivity. Even one bad night can alter your blood chemistry. Here are five science-backed strategies to help you sleep better tonight. 1. Stick to a Consistent Sleep-Wake Schedule Going to bed and waking up at the same time every day, even on weekends, helps regulate your circadian rhythm — your body’s internal clock. According to the CDC, maintaining a routine reinforces healthy sleep patterns. A study in Oxford Academic found that older adults (85–105 years) with regular sleep schedules had better cardiovascular health, showing that sleep consistency benefits body and mind alike. 2. Create a Sleep-Friendly Environment and Pre-Bed Routine Your surroundings and bedtime habits tell your brain when it’s time to rest. Keep your room cool, dark, and quiet, avoid screens, and skip heavy meals or stimulants close to bedtime. A short relaxation routine — like reading, stretching, or deep breathing — can cue your body to unwind naturally. 3. Get Regular Daytime Activity and Bright-Light Exposure Daytime movement and sunlight help synchronize your body’s sleep-wake cycle. Harvard researchers note that physical activity boosts melatonin, the hormone that regulates sleep. Aim for outdoor time or exercise earlier in the day, as late-night workouts can delay sleep. 4. Avoid Stimulants and Late Naps Caffeine and alcohol both interfere with sleep. Caffeine can reduce total sleep time, while alcohol may help you doze off initially but causes restless, poor-quality sleep later. Avoid long or late naps, which can confuse your internal clock and make it harder to fall asleep at night. 5. Reduce Blue Light Exposure in the Evening Blue light from phones, tablets, and laptops signals your brain that it’s still daytime. A Journal of Applied Physiology (2011) study found that even brief blue light exposure suppresses melatonin, delaying sleep onset. Limit screen time at least one hour before bed, or use blue-light filters to protect your sleep cycle.
