What makes eucalyptus very different from others is its superb aroma!! For its medicinal properties, eucalyptus has been sensational and has been appreciated across the world is known. Eucalyptus contains bioactive compounds and antioxidants etc in it. In the Journal of Ethnopharmacology, a research study has been published regarding antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties of eucalyptus leaf extract. From teas to inhalations to topical applications to over the counter products such as ointments, mouth washes and vapour rubs etc, eucalyptus leaves are used. Various benefits of eucalyptus leaves are High in antioxidants: Not many of us know that eucalyptus leaves have quercetin, catechin,gallic acid, syringic acid, vanillic acid, rutin, apigenin etc. Our body would get protection against oxidative stress and free radical damage etc through these compounds.
