Gold prices in Chennai have started the day on a weaker note today (31 March 2026), following the upward movement seen in yesterday’s evening session.Rail Freight
As per the latest morning update, 22-carat gold is priced at ₹13,670 per gram, marking a decline of ₹100 from the previous level. On a sovereign basis, the price stands at ₹1,09,360, down by ₹800.
Similarly, 18-carat gold has dropped to ₹11,460 per gram, registering a fall of ₹30.
